Road improvements

Cobb DOT is holding Public Information meetings in which they show planned improvements for a roadway and ask for your comments. Their normal procedure is to evaluate the comments and make the design changes to meet neighborhood input. safe road practices and the project budget. The meetings will be held on:

Ø Thursday, Aug. 28- Allgood Road Safety and Operational Improvements, Mt. Paran North Church, 1700 Allgood Road, Marietta, 5-7 p.m.

Ø Thursday, Sept. 4- Lower Roswell Road (West) Safety and Operational Improvements, (SR120 to Terrell Mill Road), Eastside Baptist Church, 2450 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, 5-7 p.m.

Ø Tuesday, Sept. 9- Barrett Parkway Thoroughfare Improvements, (US41 to Dallas Highway), Burnt Hickory Church of Christ, 2330 Burnt Hickory Road, 5-7 p.m.
