Violation reporting, exemption application

County makes reporting violations, exemptions easier

The Cobb County Water System is offering two new online forms at cobbwater.org to simplify water ban reporting and exemption applications.

The electronic violation reporting form is located on the water restrictions page at http://water.cobbcountyga.gov/outdoor.htm. This form can be used by customers who observe a violation of the water ban or water waste policy. It gives an option to leave contact information, but customers can also report anonymously.

The online landscape exemption form keeps customers from having to mail or fax anything additional to register for an exemption. Customers should still hang on to their installation or purchase receipt and be prepared to present it in case there are any questions. Outdoor watering restrictions currently follow state guidelines. This form is located on the Water Efficiency page at http://water.cobbcountyga.gov/efficiency.htm.
